SAXON

10 days cycling, 500 miles, sub zero temperatures, 6am starts and midnight finishes.

We did it. We truly experienced every last mile and minute of this journey. The thing we loved most about this challenge is that it was taken peddle by peddle and evolved constantly from beginning to end. We're still learning from it now!

Road side pit stops broke up the 100+km we were pulling to cross the border of Germany. Sometimes you've just got to dip deep and keep going. In the face of adversity we see who we truly are. If cycling in the snow, sleeping in -16•C, blisters, back aches, lunacy, numb toes and frozen fingers has taught us anything... It's to do it with joy and an ear to ear smile on your face. Believe in the kindness of strangers, only look back to see how far you've come AND to check for hazards when signalling.

Adventure begins at the end of your comfort zone, so keep going and keep learning. To all the random acts of kindness we faced whilst out in our mission, from being offered directions, beds and even money! Thank you. (Disclaimer we didn't accept the beds or money, people actually just thought we were homeless)
